The NYCC concert last Sunday saw terrific compositions and superlative performances. As always, there are so many people to acknowledge for the success of the event, from performers to producers to publicity.
There were two performers, however, who were not fully acknowledged last Sunday, as the bios of two performers were inadvertently omitted from the program: soprano Patricia Sonego, who performed Debra Kaye’s song cycle, and Crystal Chu, who deftly interacted with Simon Boyar on Robert S. Cohen’s marimba duet.
The NYCC extends its apology to these two fine musicians. The bios have been put in their rightful place in this amended version of the program, below. (Click through for larger size.)
